AdriaGUIDE is a travel guide which provides both Rijeka visitors and local inhabitants a means for discovering the city and surrounding areas and offering detailed information about the interesting locations through their mobile devices (iPhone/iPad and Android) or GPS navigation (Garmin). The guide is available in Croatian, English, German and Italian languages and offers over 450 points of interest (POI) with numerous pieces of service information in order to make a visit to Rijeka as entertaining as possible. Besides Rijeka, the guide also covers Rijeka’s surroundings - area of Bakar, Kastav, Kraljevica, Jelenje, Kostrena, Viškovo and Čavle.
Points of interest are divided into 9 main categories: Sightseeing, Food, Lodging, Entertainment, Shopping, Banks/ATM, Fuel, Events and Info. Each POI includes photos, a description, contact data and other important information. AdriaGUIDE for mobile devices is provided in 3 types of navigation – compass, map and directions and the compass option has been developed to provide foreign users free navigation which is a great advantage for roaming users. POI can also be selected as a Favourite making them easily reachable from the additional menu.
Besides information about Rijeka, the info menu includes data about the weather forecast, the exchange rate, road conditions and live images from Rijeka’s highway and there is also the option of being able to directly call important telephone numbers.
